Saturday 2–5pm during the June and December school holidays books out 6–8 weeks ahead in Singapore. Weekday parties: 1 week is usually fine. The standard advice — "book 1 month in advance" — is wrong in both directions: too early for some slots, dangerously late for others. What Fills First

• Saturday 3pm — the universal Singapore kids'-party peak. Two-thirds of weekend slots cluster within ±1 hour of this time.
• Bouncy castles for popular dates — most vendors have 5–15 inflatables max, and they need 30+ minutes setup, so a single Saturday can only support 4–5 bookings island-wide per castle.
• Magicians for under-5s specifically — fewer specialists, higher demand.
• Eve-of-PH and PH dates — vendor supply drops (staff take leave), demand peaks. The double whammy.
• Mid-December (school holiday + Christmas + birthday season for Q4 babies) — historically the most fully-booked weeks of the year.

When You Can Book Last-Minute

Last-minute bookings (under 5 days) work surprisingly well in two scenarios: (1) weekday parties where supply consistently outstrips demand, and (2) cancellations on weekend slots — vendors actively try to refill cancelled premium slots. WhatsApp 3–4 vendors directly with your date and time; one will usually have just had a cancellation. The trick: don't email or use contact forms for last-minute — WA only.

Why "Book Early" Doesn't Always Mean Better Price

Booking early gets you slot certainty, not a discount.
