Changi is the easternmost residential and recreational cluster in Singapore — a quieter coastal belt anchored by CSC Loyang (Civil Service Club), Aloha Loyang, Costa Sands chalets, Changi Beach Park, and the residential strip along Changi Village. The signature kids' party format here is the chalet day-party — booking a full chalet at CSC, Aloha, or Costa Sands and running a 4–6 hr birthday party that integrates BBQ, swimming pool access, beach time, and a structured entertainment block. It's a different shape than function-room parties: longer, looser, multi-stage, and parent-attendance is usually high because the chalet doubles as a family-day venue. Changi is in our $30 surcharge zone, transparently quoted.

CSC Loyang Chalet

Civil Service Club Loyang — strong chalet options for families with a CSC member host. Multiple chalet types (sea-facing, garden, two-storey). Bookings open well in advance for members. We arrive 60–90 min ahead for setup because of the distance from chalet parking to the venue.

Aloha Loyang Chalet

SAFRA-affiliated chalet complex with full-day rentals. Format identical to CSC — long-day party with structured entertainment block in the middle.

Costa Sands Downtown East Chalet

Sister to the Pasir Ris Costa Sands but in the Loyang / Downtown East area. Full-day private space with BBQ, pool access, and proximity to Downtown East amenities.

Changi Beach Park (outdoor)

Open beach picnic + party combo. Free public space; popular for picnic-style birthdays with overlaid entertainment. East coast wind is consistent — weighted balloon installations required.

Changi Village Restaurant Party

Less common but viable — buyout or private-area parties at Changi Village restaurants (Charsiew Family Restaurant, Aloha Loyang dining, hawker-centre family gatherings).

Things to Know — Changi Operations

Chalet parties run 4–6 hr active — much longer than function-room parties. We plan two entertainment waves: an early anchor block (magic + balloon kickoff) and a parallel-station phase later (face painting + food station during BBQ).
Changi chalet bookings — CSC, Aloha, Costa Sands — fill 8–12 weeks ahead for school holidays. Book the chalet first, then the entertainment.
Changi is in our $30 surcharge zone — covers the PIE/ECP drive and the long unloading distance from chalet parking to the venue. Same as Tampines/Pasir Ris.
Pool access at chalets means kids cycle between water and party. The entertainment block needs to bracket the pool window — we typically run our anchor activity right after the pool/BBQ phase when kids are hungry for structured fun.
Changi Beach Park outdoor parties need full weather contingency. The east-coast wind is real; we bring weighted setups, and a chalet rented for the day is a strong backup option.
Changi Village is a useful pickup point for ad-hoc supplies — but it's a 15-min drive from most chalets. Plan ahead.
